The Baby Python is a smaller version and was originally designed by Curt Fisher for the ‘Midgard’ Company. In order to improve the illumination on industrial work sites Midgard produced a series of fully adjustable lights, like this functional yet elegant desk lamp. The fixture consists of a typical enameled shade and an adjustable arm. The arm features three joints – the base, the arms, and at the shade – making it a highly flexible lamp. It has been designed so that it can be easily connected to the rim of a desk or shelf, and features an internal on/off switch.
These fixtures originate from a abandoned spinning mill in former East Germany. From the many workstations and offices throughout the factory, we were able to recover several of these delicate lighting fixtures.
The Baby Python comes with:
– decorative incandescent E27 bulb 60 watt
– 2.0 meter of black cable with a grounded plug (EU standard)
The fixture has been completely rewired to current standards, and is assembled and tested to EN 60598 directive of European Harmonized Legislation. US & Canadian, or other 110V wiring available on request.
